Know which marketing brings buyers— and where sales stall.

For owner-led businesses selling high-value products through showrooms, appointments and face-to-face consultations.

You're already winning customers. But can you see which marketing brings suitable enquiries, what happens after the first conversation, and where opportunities stop progressing? Work directly with Stephen Flynn to connect your marketing and sales information, understand what needs attention and decide what to change next.

    Which sources bring suitable buyers?

Fictional example — not customer results
    Google Ads20 suitable / 30 enquiries
    66.7% suitability
    Meta Ads12 suitable / 36 enquiries
    33.3% suitability
    Vehicle listings18 suitable / 24 enquiries
    75.0% suitability

More enquiries do not always mean more suitable buyers.

    Which marketing brings suitable buyers?

Connect enquiry sources with customer suitability, visits and recorded sales, so you can make better-informed spending decisions.

    Where do opportunities stall?

Examine qualification, sales progression and follow-up to understand what needs investigating.

    Which enquiries deserve attention?

See whether promising opportunities have an owner, an agreed next step and a reliable place in your pipeline.

    Can you trust the figures?

Identify missing or inconsistent records before relying on reports to guide your business.

See the journey from enquiry to sale.

A busy inbox and a growing enquiry count don't explain the whole picture. A useful overview connects marketing sources, suitable enquiries, visits, sales and order value. Our fictional dealership example shows how those figures can inform practical questions about marketing spend and sales progression.

    Enquiries vs suitable enquiries
    Google Ads20 suitable / 30 enquiries
    Meta Ads12 suitable / 36 enquiries
    Vehicle listings18 suitable / 24 enquiries

Context: Enquiries received January to June 2026, with outcomes recorded at 30 September 2026. Open opportunities may still become sales. Average order value is contracted value per won sale, not profit.

In this example, Meta produces more enquiries but fewer suitable buyers than Google Ads. That gives us a reason to investigate targeting, messaging and qualification before changing the budget.

Sales experience. Analytical thinking. Practical involvement.

I'm Stephen Flynn, founder of Data Compass.

I bring over 10 years of sales management experience, including managing inbound and outbound sales teams and selling caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes.

As the sole audience data analyst for a publisher, I worked across audience, sales, marketing, subscriptions and finance. My work included analysing CRM records, segmenting audiences and building dashboards from information held across several systems.

I hold the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and have practical experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Power BI, Excel and SQL.

You work directly with me to understand the evidence, agree priorities and make worthwhile improvements.

    Agree the right next step

If your records are usable, we can move into ongoing analysis and advice. If foundations need improving, we separately scope and price the setup first.

The review has standalone value. You can act on the findings with your own team, with no obligation to purchase further services. Implementation is not included.

Turn the figures into a practical plan.

Ongoing support helps you review performance, decide where to focus marketing effort and improve the sales process as your business develops.

A 60-minute monthly review with the owner or senior stakeholder.
Three agreed priority actions, with responsibilities and dates.
Checks on record quality and sales progression.

    £495/month lighter option

A shorter review and smaller improvement allowance.

We agree reporting requirements, support boundaries and improvement allowances before starting. Your business remains responsible for managing sales, following up customers and maintaining records. An engaged owner or senior stakeholder and a named records owner are essential.

    Build on what already works.

You don't need to change CRM to work with Data Compass. We can begin with agreed exports and existing reports, and work alongside your marketing providers.

Where changes are worthwhile, we can help improve source tracking, pipeline stages, enquiry capture, straightforward automation and staff use of the system.

Data and reporting setup is separately quoted. Broader implementation starts from £1,500, subject to agreed scope.

Your £395 review payment is credited against implementation if you proceed within 30 days of receiving the final findings.

    Setup & systems
